Host broadcaster for 2009 SCO summit

Russia’s state radio and television broadcasting company VGTRK is the dedicated host broadcast company with a mandate of producing the television and radio signals for all the events on the agenda of the 2009 SCO summit open for the media.

The host broadcaster will produce international signals that meet the standards of broadcasters worldwide. VGTRK will transmit the pool audio and video signal through the internal network of the International Press Center, and distribute it to television and radio booths in the TV and radio companies’ workspace. The TV signal will be available in digital (SDI with embedded audio - SD 625/50 4:3) or analogue format (a standard PAL composite signal 625/50 4:3 with two analogue audio signals).

The host broadcaster will also book stand-up positions, and ensure the transmission of the signal from the stand-up positions to international broadcast lines.
